Mark Ronson, the renowned Oscar and Grammy winner, has expressed his interest in becoming the DJ for Taylor Swift's wedding, adding a unique twist to the already highly anticipated nuptials. In a recent interview on BBC Radio 2's The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, Ronson revealed that he is keeping his schedule open for the opportunity to spin some tunes at the superstar's big day.
But here's where it gets controversial... Ronson has already had a taste of DJing for Swift, as he was the entertainment at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's wedding, where Swift was in attendance. However, he humorously admitted, "I did not see her on the dance floor, so I probably didn't do the best job at selling my services there."
Ronson's connection to the couple goes beyond just his DJ skills. He has a long-standing friendship with Benny Blanco, the music producer and songwriter, and was invited to perform a 90s-themed DJ set at their wedding.
And this is the part most people miss... Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, proposed to Taylor Swift in his backyard, transforming it into a romantic flower garden. The couple announced their engagement on social media, with a playful caption, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."
During her press tour for her latest album, "The Life of a Showgirl," Swift has shared intimate details about Kelce's proposal, describing it as a "10 out of 10" surprise.
So, will Mark Ronson get the call to DJ Taylor Swift's wedding? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure: the music will be on point if he does!
